Hotel InGigante is a boutique surf hotel located in the relaxed fishing village of Playa Gigante on Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast.

The beach and village are a short walk away, while several of southern Nicaragua’s best-known surf breaks are within reach by road or boat. Nearby options include Playa Amarillo, Colorados, Panga Drops, Santana, Popoyo, Lance’s Left, Playgrounds and Manzanillo.

After surfing, return to a comfortable room, cool off in the pool, enjoy a meal at the restaurant or relax beneath the tropical palapa.

Every Surf Week follows the conditions.

Surf locations and times are selected according to swell, wind, tide, crowds, safety and participant ability. No particular break can be guaranteed, including Lance’s Left or other boat-access waves.

Beginner sessions normally take place at Playa Amarillo or another appropriate land-access beach. Intermediate and advanced surfers may explore different breaks depending on the day’s conditions.

The goal is not simply to surf the most famous location. It is to find the safest and most suitable waves for your level and progression.

Your full 7-day, 6-night Surf Week includes:

Meals are served at Hotel InGigante and feature a combination of fresh local ingredients, Nicaraguan favorites and familiar options.

Playa Gigante is a small coastal village where daily life moves at a different pace.

You can walk to the beach, explore local restaurants, watch fishing boats return to the bay or simply spend the afternoon beside the pool. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and connected to the ocean.

Your Surf Week includes free time so that you can enjoy the destination in your own way. Optional experiences such as yoga, massage, ice baths, horseback riding, fishing, local ranch visits, scooter rentals and day trips can be arranged separately.

Begin with a coached or guided session adapted to your level and the conditions.

Day 3 — Surf and Film

Surf with technical filming for feedback and progression.

Continue your selected surf program or enjoy time in Playa Gigante.

Day 5 — Conditions-Led Surf

Follow the local surf team to the most suitable available option.

Day 6 — Final Sessions

Complete the remaining surf and video-analysis sessions, with time to relax and enjoy the village.
